The Bumpy Road to Betterment
Eddie is a brilliant comedian who masterfully lives in the present and doesn’t just entertain audience, he takes them on an emotional journey. His podcast is more than just an extension of his act. He educates. He speaks about the human experience whether it be self-help or socio/political help. I feel better listening to it and I carry parts of the show with me through the week. He’s the realist voice of self-help. One second he’s soothing your soul, the next second he’s screaming at your mind. Everything is going to be okay. BUT WILL IT? Yeah. Maybe. Who knows? What’s the alternative? Not trying? Complacency? I love the guy and everything he does.
Love this podcast. Love Eddie and the chemistry with Steve. This and Tim Dillon Is Going to Hell are the only two podcasts I like this much. Cumtown has some great bits from time to time. But the other two are more genuine as far as balancing comedy with real discussion, pluse TD and EP are both funny as hell. I've listend to O&A Patrice O'Neal episodes for what seems like an eterenity and have been needing something more current. Eddie is awesome, loved to see him live recently. Also Yvette LaMont and Rick Overton have been awesome guests. Keep it up guys!
