The Bumpy Road to Betterment
Eddie is a brilliant comedian who masterfully lives in the present and doesn’t just entertain audience, he takes them on an emotional journey. His podcast is more than just an extension of his act. He educates. He speaks about the human experience whether it be self-help or socio/political help. I feel better listening to it and I carry parts of the show with me through the week. He’s the realist voice of self-help. One second he’s soothing your soul, the next second he’s screaming at your mind. Everything is going to be okay. BUT WILL IT? Yeah. Maybe. Who knows? What’s the alternative? Not trying? Complacency? I love the guy and everything he does.
Love this podcast. Love Eddie and the chemistry with Steve. This and Tim Dillon Is Going to Hell are the only two podcasts I like this much. Cumtown has some great bits from time to time. But the other two are more genuine as far as balancing comedy with real discussion, pluse TD and EP are both funny as hell. I've listend to O&A Patrice O'Neal episodes for what seems like an eterenity and have been needing something more current. Eddie is awesome, loved to see him live recently. Also Yvette LaMont and Rick Overton have been awesome guests. Keep it up guys!
Very funny and informative
I love you, Eddie Pepitone
Whether he's interviewing a comedian or just parked in his car somewhere, talking: I love you, Eddie Pepitone. Thank you for your smart, kind & funny heart. We need you now! (Also dig your tweets.)
This is a five star review! Get it, Pepitone.
Eddie weaves between outbursts that burst guts and political commentary that will leave you both happy and frightened. Great podcast!
Bonkers. I love it.
Eddie has a co-host now, and the dynamic's hilarious. They're both a little unhinged, but Eddie's the old wise sensei and Steve is the young grasshopper.. of unhinged-ness. The show veers delightfully between surrealist messages from sponsors to discussions of enlightenment to calls from listeners. This new format is sort of a continuation of the absurdity of Puddin' (some of Eddie's finest work) and as we all know absurdity is Eddie's wheelhouse. Keep up the good work, guys!
A living legend!
Eddie Pepitone is one of the best (unsung) comedians around. The show consists not only of comedy but also of political commentary, and it gives some quite ingenious comedic insight on an array of sociocultural topics. It's not your average boring knock knock show and always leaves me entertained.
Al & Margaret moved in!
I listen to Eddie to drown out the voices in my head...now I just hear the voices of Al and Margaret! Eddie is pure comedic genius from the time he eats his Vegan McMuffin in the morning, and takes his gluten free Prozac at night!
